First Day of School and the US Open

Today was Sam's first day of school-I haven't talked to him yet.  It's hard not to think of his first day of kindergarten.  Last week he hung out with Paps, came over on Sunday and got into a serious diving competition with the McFaddens, his cousins Bradley and Maren, Aunt Susan, and his dad.

It reminded me of him swimming across the pool for the first time at River Bend so I could tell his mom about it.  She would be so proud of him.

Wish we could sit and watch the USOpen together, like 2008.  One of the last times we were all together and she was cheering for Roger-amazing he is still playing.  And, so great to watch Federer and remember his biggest fan.  Hope to watch to final with Sam!
