Mother's Day 2008
The weekend of Mother's Day 2008, Franklin and I flew to DC to spend the weekend with Steph, Sam and Mark. It was cold and rainy that weekend but we managed to have so much fun with the boys. We let them watch movies during the day, eat lots of fun food and just play. Stephanie (always being so organized) had a project for the boys, paint wooden dinosaurs. She thought this would take them hours! Well, it took them all of 10 minutes and then they asked what can we do now? It was hilarious! Franklin and Sam made us sweet mother's day cards (in their 5 year old writing).
On Mother's day, Steph took me to her favorite store, Lucketts. We had such a good time! We shopped and laughed all afternoon. She showed me so many things she wanted to buy for her house and all the plans she had for certain rooms. It was a really nice and special afternoon. One that I will always hold dear to my heart. Stephanie was such a great mother, very inspirational!
