Top Ten List About Stephanie (as in Letterman)
Dan’s “Top Ten Things I Loved About Stephanie”
#10) Her effervescent smile that everyone noticed.
#9) She loved flowers…and when I bought some for my wife, I would get double the pleasure that Stephanie would always notice them through the kitchen window.
#8) Stephanie had STYLE… and she knew how to use it!
#7) She demonstrated to us jaded easterners that, yes, indeed, there is a heartland character that runs deep.
#6) Steph loved kids… and they all wanted to be near her.
#5) She was the caring kind of person you wanted in the neighborhood. In short, she was a great neighbor.
#4) Steph allowed us the pleasure of getting to know her wonderful extended families.
#3) She and Mark brought into this world a gift and blessing named Sam, our “little astronaut,” who now has a village.
#2) Her partner Mark… great neighbor “part deux”, who has an even keel during this difficult time.
*** And the NUMBER ONE best thing about Stephanie is that we had the joy and privilege of knowing her!***
